2030 Roadmap

Farm Couture is being built with the long view in mind.

We are not interested in growing simply for the sake of getting bigger. We want to build a company that makes better clothing, develops stronger relationships, understands more of where its materials begin, and creates pieces women can keep wearing for years.

2030 is not a finish line. It is a marker for the kind of company we are deliberately trying to become.

Build a Wardrobe That Lasts

We want to keep moving away from disposable, trend-driven fashion and toward a wardrobe with continuity.

That means classic silhouettes, thoughtful tailoring, comfort, quality construction, and collections designed to work together over time.

Our goal is simple: a Farm Couture piece from this year should still belong in your wardrobe several years from now.

Advance Fit for More Women

Fit is part of the design.

We want to continue improving how our clothing works across a broader range of bodies, with particular attention to the places traditional sizing often overlooks — bust, arms, waist shaping, length, comfort, and movement.

The goal is not simply to add more sizes. It is to preserve the intended Farm Couture fit and feeling across the size range.

Lead in Farm-Built Fashion

Clothing begins on a farm.

For Farm Couture, that is true in more than one way.

Cotton, flax, wool, and many of the natural fibers we wear begin with growers. And Farm Couture itself is designed on a working Colorado farm.

As farmers, we understand the work, risk, patience, and investment required to grow something well. We also understand how easily the people at the very beginning of a supply chain can become invisible.

By 2030, we want to know more of the farmers behind our fibers, build more direct relationships with growers, tell their stories, and trace more of our materials back toward the land where they began.

We also want to explore what is still possible in American apparel manufacturing.

Maybe Farm Couture cannot bring an entire industry back. But we can prove that one beautiful garment can still begin with an American farmer and end as an American-made piece.

Then we can make two.

Then five.

And build from there.

We are not interested in proving this only with basics. We want to explore what is possible with the timeless pieces women actually build wardrobes around — sweaters, blouses, trousers, dresses, jackets, and layers designed to be worn for years.

Our first goal is to begin with one.

By Fall 2027, we hope to create our first Farm Couture piece manufactured in the United States using cotton traced back to an actual American farm.

From there, we want to build a repeatable Farm-Built Fashion program with stronger grower relationships, more traceable natural fibers, and select garments made entirely in the United States.

Clothing begins on a farm. We want more of ours to tell you exactly which one.

Choose Better Materials and Better Partners

We want to keep improving the materials, construction, trims, and manufacturing relationships behind every Farm Couture piece.

Natural fibers will become increasingly important where they make sense, but our standard goes beyond fiber content alone.

A material should feel good, perform well, hold up, and suit the life the garment was designed for.

We also believe good clothing comes from good partnerships. Our goal is to build lasting relationships with the people who grow, develop, cut, sew, knit, finish, and manufacture Farm Couture — both in the United States and around the world.

Grow Without Losing the Point of View

We want Farm Couture to become a meaningful, enduring fashion company without losing the reason it exists.

Growth should give us more ability to create original product, invest in fit, work with better materials, strengthen manufacturing relationships, support growers, manufacture more domestically where possible, and build Bloomstead into a physical expression of the brand.

We want to grow carefully enough that Farm Couture still feels unmistakably like Farm Couture.

Founder-led. Rooted in place. Thoughtful about what we make and why.

Looking Toward 2030

We know some of these goals will take time.

That is exactly the point.

We would rather start with one meaningful step and build from there than make promises we cannot yet keep.

By 2030, we hope Farm Couture is known not only for beautiful clothing, but for a different way of thinking about where clothing begins, how it is made, and how long it deserves to remain in our lives.

Clothing begins on a farm.
