Growing up, getting dressed sometimes came with negotiation. Noelle has always known exactly what she will—and will not—wear. She has never been interested in whether an outfit is fashionable enough or whether someone else approves. She cares about how clothing feels.
As an autistic person with sensory sensitivities, Noelle notices the things many of us try to ignore: fabric that scratches, seams that rub, clothing that feels restrictive, and pieces that become uncomfortable after a few hours. She gravitates toward clothing that feels worn-in, modest, flexible, and easy to layer. She loves the natural world and prefers pieces that allow her to move through it freely.
Over time, we realized that Noelle’s standards are not niche at all. Many of us want clothing that feels softer, gentler, and less demanding. Sometimes we all need more room, more ease, and something wonderfully soft to wear.
That is why we created Noelle Approved.
What makes a piece Noelle Approved?
A Noelle Approved piece must feel exceptionally comfortable from the moment it is put on.
It should be:

- Free from a tight or restrictive feeling

- Easy to layer without feeling bulky

Not every Farm Couture style will carry the Noelle Approved designation. The mark is reserved for pieces that meet her particular standard for softness, movement, and sensory comfort.
